VIOPHTAN NR 1 - Bioregulator of the Corneal Endothelium and Blood Vessels of the Eye

VIOPHTAN NR1 is a protein-peptide eye balm. Targeted peptide-based modulator of the visual analyzer. Used as eye drops.

Indications for use:

• Eye injuries;
• Contusions and hemorrhages in the eyeball (hyphema, hemophthalmos);
• Ocular burns: thermal, chemical;
• Corneal erosions and ulcers;
• Keratitis: viral, bacterial;
• Corneal opacity of any origin;
• Epithelial-endothelial dystrophy of the cornea (keratopathy);
• Post-keratoplasty conditions, keratoconus;
• Astigmatism;
• Dry eye syndrome;

Composition:

1 ml of sterile solution contains: demineralized water 8.5±0.2 mg NaCl; 0.1±0.01 mg CaCI₂ and 10^-10-10^-11 mg protein-peptide complex.

Source of bioregulator isolation: cattle blood serum.

Physiological action:

• Heals wounds;
• Restores corneal tissue structure (endothelium);
• Prevents corneal opacification;
• Promotes the resolution of corneal opacities;
• Has a pronounced antiviral effect;
• Improves microcirculation in all ocular tissues;
• Can resolve hemorrhages in ocular tissue;
• Regulates connective tissue of the eye (cornea, blood vessels, muscles, sclera) and retinal pigment cells;
• Stimulates reparative processes in the cornea, promoting the activation of fibroblasts;
• Prevents the development of inflammation, scar tissue growth, and vascular ingrowth into the cornea;
• Modulates adhesion interactions between mesenchymal cells;
• Inhibits lipid peroxidation in cell membranes.

Mode of application:

Viophtan is instilled into the eyes, 1-2 drops at a time, 2-4-6 times, depending on the condition.

Different Viophtans are instilled at intervals of at least 10 minutes.
